Smells a little bit like rubber because of the natural rubber base. Brand new in packaging; never opened. NWT condition. It’s on the heavier side because of the natural materials: 6 lbs 12.2 oz. Only thing of note that I can tell without ever having opened it is that there is a tiny dent in the rubber on the side of the mat that is visible when it’s rolled up. See last pic.
