V. Wells HGE "Karatclad" LOVE Earrings

These vintage earrings by Wells are part of the "Karatclad" series, and are heavy gold electroplated (HGE). The backs are each stamped at the top saying, "WELLS KARATCLAD HEAVY GOLD ELECTROPLATE". The earrings have post findings and come with their original green earring card (with original price tags on the back). Each earring has a round piece dangling down that has a wide smooth border and says LOVE on the interior with cut-outs around the letters. The pair doesn't appear to have been worn much, if at all, though it does have superficial marks in the surface of the metal, likely from being moved around over the years.
