French Vintage Moui Grater

This is an original MOULI GRATER made in France. It is a hand operated kitchen utensil designed to grate cheese, grind up nuts or purée small amounts of food. There is a food hopper with a grating cylinder and hand crank for rotating the cylinder. There is an arm that folds down into the food hopper to help push the food through. The metal on this MOULI has great patina with a small amount of rust. The paint on the red wood handle is very worn off and there is a crack the entire length of the wood handle.
