Unique Lacquered and Hand-Painted Jewel Box from India

This is glorious, colorful, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind, laquered and octagonal jewel box purchased in India. The picture is of a royal prince lunching with his friends in a garden. Primary color is a soft green, but the men all wear different colored garments - orange, gold, mustard , orange, red, patterned, etc. Drawings of deer in the garden are featured on the sides of the box. There is Arabic or Urdu writing around the top of the box. The box is lined, top and bottom, in a rust colored velvet. This is truly a work of art.
