georgiecoffey55 These are sterling silver so I expect them to tarnish - is there something plated or something?? Sterling always tarnishes & it looks good like that??

cjdamus @georgiecoffey55 I don’t understand sterling - I am sure my Mom had these for years. She bought jewelry and kept it in her jewelry box for a special day. Maybe that’s why it never tarnished? Not sure. Then Silpada stuff hardly ever tarnishes but I have a few pieces that have so haven’t listed them yet. It’s confusing…

georgiecoffey55 @cjdamus Funny - my Silpada tarnishes unless kept in air tight ziplock. All silver tarnishes - I worked at Mar A Lago was lady’s aid to the Donald’s first wife “Ivana” the butlers polished the silver so often it wore the engraving off. So if it is silver & exposed to the air it tarnishes. I will take to my jeweler before accepting & will let you know 💯 percent if it’s sterling .925 engraved on it somewhere always

georgiecoffey55 But I just read No Siran Wrap or whatever thin plastic wrap - it creates a gas & it turns irreversible black on silver 😩
