Vintage Mid-century Navy Purse W/ Lucite Or Bakelite Frame And Clasp Women's Bag

Classic mid-century shoulder purse with a knotted strap and plastic frame with a flip over clasp. Frame is various amber brown shades and seems to be either lucite or bakelite. Bag is a navy leather material (not marked as genuine leather but suspect that it is. Fabric lining with a a small interior slip pocket. Bag is approximately 8" x 9" and the strap has a 12.5" drop. Good vintage condition, a few small marks on exterior (see pics) Lining has a stitch repair, also show in photos. No cracking or peeling to the leather-like exterior. Excellent collector piece or a staple in any vintage wardrobe.
