Vintage Elgin Tom Sterling Silver Red Stone Earrings 12 Grams

Vintage sterling silver earrings by Elgin Tom in tear drop hoop shape and set with a single red stone. I do not know what kind of stone this is. I would guess coral or jasper. Earrings measure 1 and 15/16ths of an inch length, 7/8ths of an inch across widest point, and weigh 6 grams each for a total of 12 grams. Stamped Elgin Tom, Sterling, and acid test positive for sterling silver. R
