*Callout* There's absolutely zero wrong with these boots, but... ***You will need to buy or borrow insoles from another pair of your footwear*** I use orthotics, so almost any footwear I own...the factory insoles get tossed (it depends on how thick the factory insoles are, and if they're easily removable). Other than that, these are ready to rumble. The closest relatable color, is Boston Baked Beans candies. These are not brick red, not maroon, and not burgandy...lol. They are *not* leather, but definitely leatheresque, and *extremely* comfortable - I simply have too many pairs of tall boots. *They're not slip-resistant* so if you're going to wear them out in the snow and ice, I highly recommend Yak Tracks or similar (they're very easy on/off). They're in wonderful condition in every aspect. They zip up and down smoothly, soles show zero wear, no pronation-induced damage, etc. The heel is 3.5" (closer to 4) but my feet couldn't tell...they're comfy.
