Magnificent antique gilt brass bib necklace dating to circa 1918–1930, crafted in the Austrian/Bohemian region during the transition from Art Nouveau to Early Art Deco. This hand-assembled piece features finely detailed leaf-and-berry dangles suspended from double foxtail-style chains and connected by rosette stations. The original hand-formed S-hook clasp and warm aged gilt patina attest to its early European workshop origins in the Gablonz/Austrian tradition. At 16 inches long, it sits gracefully at the collar line and drapes beautifully. Excellent antique condition with intact dangles and attractive age patina.
