This limited edition pewter Norwegian Julen or Christmas plate is dated 2002 and was designed by Astri Holthe. It is the 30th in the Christmas Plate Collection. It features an intricate embossed scene of The Lucia Child with a crown of candles attended by maids and star boys, in recognition of Saint Lucia and the Lucia Festival. The back of the plate has the artist's engraved signature, the words "Pewter Made in Norway" and is numbered 00671 The plate is in very good condition. There are some small scratches and a small dent on the front from being displayed (shown in last 3 photos). The pictures are of the item you will receive.
