The inner shorter vest is removable, it has zippers on both sides. 4 outside ample pockets. I noticed that the outer zipper has a flaw while taking these pictures. Hadn’t noticed as I always wore it unzipped, but you can close it with the outer buttons. Otherwise in good condition. The inner zipper works well.
