Vintage MONET Clip-On Earrings Ribbon & Knot Design Textured Gold Tone Metal

Beautiful, uniquely styled pair of mid-century MONET clip-on earrings in a ribbon and knot design of textured gold tone metal. MONET was a renowned American costume jewelry brand founded in 1927 by brothers Michael & Joseph Chernow. Earrings are marked MONET PATD on the back. MONET patented several innovations including a more comfortable clip earring design. This particular mark was used on pieces dating from 1950's to 1970's. Pre-owned in good condition. The clip mechanism on both earrings is in good working order. There is one small loss of color on one earring near the knot. See last photo. Not visible when wearing, only once up close can you detect the loss of color. Measurements (approximate/flat lay): H 1.5" x L 0.5" Variations in color due to lighting when photographed.
