Pink Milk Glass Rectangular Vase In the 90’s, I lived in Manhattan and had a Pet Care business. My private clients were typically dogs which needed individualized care. There was a Sharpei, Briard and Italian Greyhound, to name a few. There were 200 clients in all, some of which were celebrity pets. There were names like ‘Coco and Pepsi’, ‘Porkchop and Applesauce’, ‘Butter’ and ‘Gator’. My Upper Westside Brownstone Apartment went through a ‘Groovy’ phase and everything was white, pink and orange, in varying hues, with plants placed strategically around. The Korean corner-deli sold huge rose bouquets for very cheaply. On Fridays, I would treat myself and bring them home to a select case. This pink one was a favorite as it was sturdy and could hold heavier bouquets. In the photographs with multiple vases, please see my collection, which has grown over the years. This vase was purchased at a location called ‘Alice’s Underground’. It is milky-white in the center, with a clear pink glass base. It weighs 27 oz. A wonderful decorative object to enjoy year round.
