Vintage Mid Century 60’s Winkelman’s Green Velvet Sequin Feather Pillbox Hat

Vintage Winkelman’s Mid Century 50’s 60’s Lime Green Velvet Sequin Feather Chapeau Pillbox Hat. Stunning piece of history. I would guess this is from the 50’s or 60’s but the pheasant feathers are reminiscent of the art deco era 20’s 30’s and 40’s also. The grass green velvet top has a few spots and discoloration. The Chartreuse and lime forest green feathers along with iridescent beaded sequin appliqués make this an absolute head turner and a rare find. These pillbox hats are meant to sit further back and up on the head. Has attached net inside and grosgrain inside band for fit. This museum worthy collectors item will add extra pizazz to your next red carpet event or formal gathering. Overall in very good vintage condition.
