Venetian Millefiori Murano Glass Italian Beaded Vintage Bracelet

This is a vintage Italian Murano glass millefiori beads in blue and white with gold-tone accents and vintage box clasp. Bracelets with similar characteristics date back to the mid-20th century (1950s or 1960s).  Size 7 The term millefiori (Italian for "thousand flowers") refers to a specific glasswork technique that produces distinctive decorative patterns, typically flower-like designs, on glassware. The technique involves creating a bundle of thin glass rods of different colors (called murrine) and heating them until they fuse together. This bundle is then pulled thin, cooled, and sliced cross-sectionally to produce small disks with the flower-like designs.
