A special statement pendant from Nepal! Beautifully carved bone (probably yak or water buffalo bone) stained, most likely using tea, to create a longhorn steer skull pendant with Southwestern vibes. The carving is set in "white metal" elaborately embossed on the back. The cabachon appears to be turquoise (and was sold as such). Notice that the turquoise is "pinned" into its setting. The static round bail is approximately 8mm (about 1/4"). These pendants look equally at home worn on deerskin, stone, or a chain. It is 2.75" in length including the bail, and 3" wide.
