This big sterling silver ring depicts of daisy with an opalite center and twisted rope style border. Opalite is a manmade faux opal stone. It can be made of either glass or resin and is designed to resemble genuine opal gemstones. (I've also heard some people say it resembles moonstone!) At the same time, manmade opalite is a lot more durable than the real thing, making it better suited for frequent or everyday wear. This particular opalite gem has a milky glow and strong blue undertones.
