Hi! Is the waist 28 or 29 inches? It says both in the description

I’m like a 27.5 inch waist so 28 would be okay but not 29!

After trying them on, I’d say they’re probably closer to 28. Also, I think with the pleats they would fall more nicely if they were a bit oversized anyway!
