In the vintage Coach community, these are not necessarily considered negative. As a collector, these stamps are watched for (easter eggs) and some feel it makes the bag more interesting/rare. After carrying and using this bag for some time, I have not been able to tell what the irregularity actually IS. She is fully functional, beautiful and gets lots of compliments!
