This anklet (or long bracelet) is made of a gold tone metal and has an adjustable lobster clasp closure. The chain is made up of medium sized round oval links. While this could be worn as a bracelet (and though it is photographed on a wrist), the length of the piece puts it in the "anklet" category. There is normal wear, but the length is the only thing that may affect wearability for you. I've listed it in the bracelet category because there's no anklet category.
