This is a "Bluebird of Happiness" iridescent carnival glass bird figurine, signed by artist Leo Ward. I have included a photo of the signature and date - either 1990 of 1991. It is a hand-blown art glass piece produced by Terra Studios in Durham, Arkansas. The figurine features a vibrant cobalt blue base with an iridescent or "rainbow" finish. Each bird is individually crafted, signed, and dated by the artisans. It is such a beautiful and bright piece, to be displayed almost anywhere! Measures approximately 2” high x 1 3/4” beak to tail. Beautiful condition. I cannot find any damage or marks.
