This is an early 1910s–1920s Swift's Premium Hams & Bacon die-cut cardboard countertop display featuring two anthropomorphic rabbits dressed in elegant Victorian-style clothing—a classic example of whimsical pre-WWII grocery advertising.
Swift & Company frequently used charming animal characters during this era to make their meat products more approachable to families, and pieces from this series are well known among early food-advertising collectors. The original fold-out easel back is still present and functional.
This display shows bright, appealing color, but it has notable losses: both ears and the tail were cut off at some point, along with expected edge wear and small tears from age. The main image still presents well and remains a desirable example of early Swift die-cuts, which are scarce in any form.
