Fantastic vintage Hungarian folk art chess set with hand-painted wood pieces with felt bottoms. All pieces present - no missing pawns. Please note the following condition issues and please inspect photos carefully: Board has a few surface marks/stains. There is one missing side/edge on the board. One knight(horse) pawn has a damaged ear. Storage ties that hold pieces down have loose elasticity and no longer hold the piece snuggly. These condition issues are reflected in the price and do not detract from the overall visual appeal or collectible character of the set.
