These are upcycled jeans, meaning previously owned/preloved. Purchasing upcycled clothing is beneficial to our planet. All clothing is washed first thing upon bringing it to my home. If the item has been bleached, my bleaching/distressing process includes neutralizing the bleached area afterwards, rinsing in soapy water, and then machine washing and drying. All patchwork jeans have been washed and dried again after applying patches. However, some amount of fraying of patches may still occur after laundering. All items are made in my nonsmoking home.
