pmgaragesale4u Love these. I had a set of four made as a wedding gift. They lasted almost 45 years. Probably should not have put them in the dishwasher over the years, the later years when I had a dishwasher! But they are great for corn on the cob and yes, like a cake plate, they dress up a meal.
