Moser Alexandrite Neodymium glass vases are artistic glass pieces that exhibit color-changing effects based on the light conditions they are exposed to. Developed by Leo Moser and Dr. Franz Weidert in the late 1920s, these vases are made from dichroic Alexandrite glass, which appears transparent amethyst under natural light and changes to dichroic colors under different lighting conditions, such as purple in natural sunlight and blue in fluorescent light. The unique color transitions are due to the presence of neodymium oxide in the glass, allowing for a visually striking effect that enhances the piece's aesthetic appeal.
