These vintage stud earrings showcase two old European cut diamonds, each approx. 3mm (est. 0.15-0.20ct per stone, total 0.30-0.40ctw), bezel-set in 14k yellow gold with hexagonal frames and intricate milgrain borders. Total weight: 1.10g.
Good vintage condition: Minor patina and wear add character; no damage to settings or stones. Tested as 14k gold (no marks). I switched out some screw backs that were 10k onto these.
Dating to the Art Deco era (c. 1920s-early 1930s), these reflect the period's modernist spirit, born from post-WWI optimism, industrialization, and influences like Egyptian revival and Cubism. Art Deco jewelry emphasized geometric shapes, symmetry, and bold contrasts, moving away from Edwardian florals toward streamlined elegance in pieces like these lightweight studs.

I have these exact earrings but my stones are a little bigger—just wondering if you know the history of these at all? I’ve never seen another pair exactly like them!
