Carved Faux Ivory dragon Netsuke pendant. The dragon is depicted holding 3 coins, reported to symbolize wealth and good fortune. An unusual design, I found no other examples for sale online. Dragons are a powerful symbol of strength, good luck, success, and the protection. Traditional netsuke are miniature sculptures used as toggles on traditional Japanese clothing. Please note that I added the silver-tone bale so it could be worn as a pendant. It could certainly be removed.
