This incredible vintage Mid-Century Modern, two-tone vase was created by Swiss ceramic artist Andre' Freymond. It was made in his own workshop in Bockten, near Basel, Switzerland, in the 1960's.
Stunning light blue and dark gray splatters the top, followed by a white and light gray crackled-texture bottom. It has a rounded body with a narrower neck and a slightly flared base. The crackled texture, also known as crazing, is a common characteristic of some ceramic glazes from this time period. The speckled surface adds a unique, modern design element.
• Ideal for dried flowers or as a standalone decor piece
Design style fits: mcm, light academia, beachy and modern farmhouse. Collectors of pottery will really enjoy adding this piece to their home.
Height = 6 inches, width at widest point = 5.25 inches, 3 inch top opening, 3.5 inch base.
