This vintage porcelain "Moss Rose" bud vase made in Japan, consistent with the style popular in the mid-20th century (circa 1950s-1960s). It features the characteristic hand-painted pink rose floral design with gold trim accents on the ruffled rim and base. These types of mass-produced, hand-decorated Japanese porcelain items were made by various manufacturers, including Tilso and Ucagco, often featuring an "occupied Japan" or simply "Japan" mark on the bottom.
