Exquisite Frankoma pottery planter or bowl marked F29, indicating the design/style. This particular pattern was introduced in 1942, with production ceasing in 1949. This highly collectible piece, 'Praire Green', features a drapery effect, scalloped at the top, in light grass green and lush brown in high glaze. Despite its age (circa '42 -'49), it is in pristine condition, without blemishes or imperfections of any sort. Frankoma is noted for its distinctive terra cotta look and colorful glazes. Measurements included in the photos. A valuable addition to any collection of fine pottery, especially Frankoma. NOTE: Frankoma pottery in glazes of blues and greens are the most sought-after.
