vixen676 @pacificwinds 1) A few months ago, Poshmark started switching everyone's default view to RELEVANCE when you click open a PFF's closet. When you are looking at your own closet, it's JUST SHARED. Little by little, we're all switching over as our devices get the updates

vixen676 @1stolive @pacificwinds FYI once you receive the update, the seller default view of their OWN closet is Just Shared (available + sold). Anytime you go into SOMEONE ELSE'S closet, the default view is Relevance (available only) The Relevance view is like a mini For You Feed for the closet you are in.

vixen676 @1stolive A night or two ago, after searching around on Posh for card making stuff, (the absolute LAST thing I need to be buying more of 🙄😄) I noticed that every closet I went into had cardmaking supplies immediately at the top (if they had any), followed by crafty stuff ( if they had any), followed by home stuff, etc. And then the light bulb went off and I realized how the relevance sort works... ☝😃💡

vixen676 @1stolive It's a bit hard for some of us to catch the benefit of it because as sellers, we participate in tons of share groups and search for comps often. This dilutes our algorithm by liking the share group listings, so probably when you go into my closet or justpeep or runibloom, the relevance is clouded by the share group listings. The thing to remember is it was designed for shoppers.

vixen676 @1stolive I think it's kind of a genius move on Poshmark's part, because as I said, more card making stuff is the last thing I need, but if I go into a PFF's closet to do shares, and they have card making supplies, it's right there my face and I'm hooked and looking at them 🙄😄

I’m beginning to finally wrap my head around the changes by thinking on a more personal shopping and sharing experience rather than PM as a whole….working together to reach the common feed. It’s taken months to shift my thinking. And like many others have said, it kinda makes me uncomfortable having PM all up in my business.

jadet4 @vixen676 I just pray these massive changes actually helps to accomplish PM’s goals and they don’t loose us all along the way. If people are not selling, they will leave. If the stuff isn’t here, buyers will leave. We know so many that have either left or are just trying to fire sell to clear it out.

jadet4 @vixen676 In the last 4ish months, I’ve gone from selling 3-4 per day to 3-4 a week. I think I’m doing everything according to the New PM rules. I share my closet with ENL at least 2X day. I’m shopping. Liking. Bundling. Watch PM shows. Submit to posh parties etc etc… this is a hobby for me so no big deal it’s just frustrating. And the way PM sneaks many changes in without explanation feels like they’re doing us dirty. Sigh…thanks for letting me vent. 😘

vixen676 @jadet4 Can I make a suggestion? Don't use ENL to "share" closet for few days. Use the "share to followers" instead. I think with the alchemist algorithm shift on posh, ENL doesn't work with a much benefit as it to. I'm guessing that's why you've seen the massive decline in business?

I’ve seen & read the seller notes but forget about it until I’m wondering what’s changed again. Again- thank you! You’ve managed to keep me from jumping off the cliff again 😂😂

jadet4 @vixen676 I popped into seller tools but it seems like changes that are for PM’s benefit rather than it’s employees. Like bundling separate order for 1 shipping price. Now, we are to wait to send packages for 24 hours just in case buyer decides to bundle. If we send before 24 hrs & buyer decides to buy more - we pay their ship $ or is it they can return? Something like that…? So many changes 😂😂😂😂

vixen676 @jadet4 That 24 hr thing you mentioned is geared more towards the shows. You should absolutely mail packages ASAP! 🤗 But sellers who make multiple sales to the same buyer can condense transactions that happen over the same 24 hr period onto the same shipping label. You can do same, selling out of your closet, but it only happens once in a blue moon that you'd need it.
