This is a framed oil painting that I acquired at auction, many years ago. People are very drawn to it. Happy, vibrant colors, and nostalgic memories of growing easy-to-nurture Marigolds, as many of us did, as children. Marigolds are the October birth month flower. Marigolds are adored by East Indians for their religious ceremonies. And, in Mexico/USA for The Day of the Dead. Nice for Halloween decor. This is a very textural painting…not flat. Gives mid-century vibes, a bit. Bold, and uplifting. The canvas is marked 16” X 20” Framed, it is approximately 21” X 25” X 2” Frame is wooden. Good frame. Wire hanger. I have always enjoyed it nearish my houseplants. The flowers are so realistic, bees kept trying to enjoy them, while I was photographing it, on the patio. Will be packaged carefully for shipping.
