This antique Early American Pattern Glass compote features the Sunburst Daisy / Aster / Sunflower motif, a floral pattern produced between 1900–1915 by several prominent American glasshouses including U.S. Glass Co., McKee, and occasionally Northwood. Multiple companies used and modified these floral molds, making exact attribution difficult—but the pattern family is unmistakable.
The compote shows deeply pressed radiating sunburst flowers accented by petal textures and geometric patterning. Its flared bowl, scalloped rim, and distinctive square pedestal foot capture the elegant yet sturdy style of early 20th-century pressed glass. This piece works beautifully as a candy dish, vanity bowl, centerpiece accent, or decorative shelf display.
Measurements
~4.75” tall
~7.5” across rim

Condition Excellent antique condition with light expected wear for 110+ years. Minor mold lines, small bubbles, and slight asymmetry are typical of EAPG production. No cracks; small flea bites may be present from normal use and age.
Authentic Early American Pattern Glass often shows small bubbles, straw marks, mold seams, and subtle shape variations. These features are original to production and part of its historical charm.
