slavovas @jgrosse512 Hi, the waist from side to side lying flat is 14.5 inches. I do not know how to measure the bust, but I am 36D and 5’6” and fits me. Hope this is helpful. I have worn the dress only once for an occasion. Same dress in green was worn by the Princess of Wales.

jgrosse512 @slavovas. Is there any stretch in the waist? I'm 32DD but waist is 30 inches. I'm also 5'2" so I'm guessing it would need to be hemmed even if i wore 5 inch heels

slavovas @jgrosse512 No stretch, I am afraid. I can post a picture of the dress on me. You may need to hem it, but that would spoil the effect of the bottom part. From the waist to the bottom hem the length is 32 inches.

jgrosse512 @slavovas would you happen to know your waist measurement? That way if you post a pic of it on i can get an idea of how fitted or loose it is on you. It would be very sad to lose the ruffle. A seamstress might able to move it up though..$$$

slavovas @jgrosse512 Ok, I found several photos of me on the occasion I wore the dress - New Year’s 2023. I was perhaps slightly heavier than I am now then, my waist is 34 inches right now. Yes, upon reflection, I think a seamstress will be able to move the ruffle hem up.

jgrosse512 @slavovas It might fit. An expensive if:). It will likely come to my ankles with high heels but that is ok. I have pale skin and dark hair so i look better in jewel tones (i really wanted the red one) rather than pastels but it is very pretty. I need a little time to think about it. slavovas @jgrosse512 of course, take your time. It has been sitting in my wardrobe ever since. It is a beautiful piece. But there is no stretch. The sleeves are exquisite. I wanted at the time the emerald green one - I have blue-green eyes and light brown hair, so darker shades also suit me better. But it was old out everywhere in jewel tones and I bought this icy blue one. Think about it - it is expensive. Good night!

slavovas @jgrosse512 Thank you for understanding. Yes, I also had a short version in black with small floral print (different material) that I sold on The Real Real sometime ago. I am happy to let go of things i no longer wear. But you are right: it is pricey and hard to justify for just wearing once or twice.
