Oxblood Glazed Heavy Clay Pot

This is an oxblood glazed clay pot. It is quite heavy for its size, almost 2 lbs. I do not know its origin or age and it is unmarked. It has some scratches on the surface, as seen in pictures. Purchased in bulk at an estate sale. 3 3/4" tall x 5" wide x 3 1/2" opening 2262-J24
