Rare Georg Gensen Sterling Silver Compact with Engraved Design Original Case

For your consideration this fine Georg Jensen sterling silver compact with its original sleeve case. This is a rare and hard to find large size compact (3 3/4 inches) and was designed by Harald Nielsen, circa 40s-50s. The compact features nicely etched on both sides floral and animal motifs: duck, ram’s head, and flowers. The compact is in great condition for the age, original untreated age patination, some light expected surface wear, no dents or scratches noted, the mirror glass appears to be clear, no monograms, it comes . with a powder screen.
