The dress was originally extremely long with dramatic excess length that pooled heavily on the floor. I am 5’4”, and before alterations it was far too long to wear comfortably. I invested $365 in professional hemming to bring it to a perfect floor-length fit for someone around 5’4”. It now just grazes the ground beautifully, creating a clean, elegant silhouette without losing the drama of the gown. Only worn once after alterations. In excellent condition.
