Vintage Bottega Veneta Matte Black Intrecciato Sunglasses

Bottega Veneta sunglasses in matte black intrecciato (basketweave). These have rectangular lenses with acetate frames. The frames are in good condition, and there are some scratches, imperfections and scuffs on the lenses. Please see photos. Intrecciato is an iconic Italian, hand-woven leather technique signature to luxury brand Bottega Veneta, characterized by its durable, supple, and textured diamond pattern. Developed in the late 1960s, it involves weaving thin strips of leather (often lambskin) to create sturdy yet lightweight, logo-free handbags, clutches, and accessories, becoming a timeless symbol of understated luxury.
