Vintage “Dragon’s Breath” Glass Cabochon Demi-Parure Bracelet & Earring Set

This incredible vintage jewelry set is a “demi-parure," which includes a chunky panel link bracelet and matching clip-on earrings. The design is often associated with the 1950’s-1970’s and is characterized by its ornate, pewter-tone metalwork and iridescent glass stones, frequently referred to as "Dragon's Breath" or "Dragon Eye". These stones display a shifting, multicolored fire (aurora borealis effect) in hues of red, blue, and green. The links and earrings have a decorative, Victorian Revival style, featuring detailed open metalwork with curling leaf and floral motifs. Bracelet measures 7 1/2” with a fold-over clasp. Clip-on earrings have secure clips and measure 1”.
