This is a Peruvian Taxco 950 sterling silver inlaid ring, size 8.50, featuring a vibrant mosaic of precisely cut and fitted stones or shell pieces. The inlay work forms a geometric pattern around the band, showcasing semi-precious gemstones of Chrysocolla , Peruvian Turquoise, Spiny Oyster, Lapis and Mother-of-pearl, each separated by thin silver lines. The ring has a substantial, flat band design, characteristic of some Taxco silver jewelry, and the "950" mark indicates a higher silver purity than standard sterling (925). Inspired by Inca traditions, this design incorporates symbols and motifs that tell a story of ancient civilizations. This ethnic style ring is absolutely gorgeous.
