Vintage ceramic German stoneware vase. 19th century Historismus period. Inspired from Renaissance and Baroque designs featuring relief work with historical or folk figures. Westerwald region of Germany. Ornate scroll handles. Stylized 616 mold number on the bottom. Consistent with Reinhold Hanke, Simon Peter Gerz, or Marzi & Remy stoneware makers. Measures approx 7" tall x 5" wide Great condition. No chips or cracks. Some rubbing off of the glaze on the bottom which is consistent with authenticity and age.
