Antique Perfecscope stereoscope viewer manufactured by H.C. White Company of Bennington, Vermont, one of the leading stereoview publishers of the early 1900s.
Marked "The Perfecscope" trade mark with U.S. patents Oct 15, 1895 and June 3, 1902, manufactured by H.C. White Company of Bennington, Vermont.
This handheld viewer was used to view stereograph cards, which created an early 3-dimensional image effect when seen through the dual lenses.
Features an embossed metal hood displaying the Exposition Universelle 1900 seal and a classic wood handle. The lenses are present inside the viewer.
