70's Pysanka Egg Pin - Ukrainian Folk Art - Jewelry - Lapel Pin - Ukrainian Egg

This is an lovely hat pin. A Ukrainian folk art "pysanka" egg in a beautiful red, black, gold crosshatch pattern. The pin has a gold tone backing and a pretty filigree trim. I am taking a guess that it is from the 70's. I honestly don't know. It measures 2 3/4 inches long by 3/4 inches wide. In excellent vintage shape, there are no flaws to note. Please note that I cannot guarantee the age of this piece or the authenticity of the metal and/or the gemstones. This is being sold as a costume piece.
