70s vintage blue hand knit hippy granny hippy thick crochet fringed midi dress

this is a stunning hand crocheted dress from the 1970s made from a multicolor knit consisting of shades of blue and yellow (and I think some green). the short sleeved dress is midi/above-the-knee length and it features a square neckline, an adjustable waist tie, a fringed bottom hem, and an open back with decorative button details. the medium weight garment is well constructed and dense with no itch, and it has a fitted silhouette as it is can be cinched at the waist. I love the vintage feel (grandma chic!) yet modernity to this handmade piece. would look great worn as a regular dress but would also be amazing as a swim cover up! the size is untagged but I would say this best fits womens size medium or large. in excellent vintage condition with light pilling and fraying~ measurements (lying flat): outer shoulder to outer shoulder: 21” bust (pit to pit): 18” across waist: 17.5” across (can be adjusted to be smaller with waist tie) hips: 19.5” sleeve length: 7” (from neck hem to sleeve seam, as there is no shoulder seam) top of shoulder to bottom hem (includes fringe): 35” bottom opening: 20” across
