70s vintage secret lover admirer friend inscribed custom sterling silver pendant

this is a super unique and mysterious silver sterling pendant that has been inscribed with the words “Secret Friend 1974” – the engraving seems to have been done by hand, rather than it being printed/typed, which makes it even more interesting! I do not know the history of the piece, but it was presumably a gift to someone’s forbidden or secret lover in the 70s - so freaking cool! the round pendant measures 2" and it it feels very thin, lightweight with minimal shine, and it is marked with “STG” (indicating sterling silver) on the front directly under the words. the backside of the pendant has a textured look with a bit of shine, and the pendant does not come with a chain. such a great opportunity to have a one-of-a-kind piece with a cool secret history! in great vintage condition with light scuffing.
