70s vintage white rainbow striped groovy knit button up cardigan belted sweater

this is a lovely vintage cardigan sweater from the 1970s with long flared sleeves- so fun and groovy! the cardigan is a white acrylic knit and has a bright rainbow striped knitted pattern across the chest, the back and the sleeves. the sweater has a deep v neckline, wide sleeves, two front pockets, and it closes at the front with five large buttons. there is Aztec style trimming around the pockets and the bottom hem, and the sweater comes with a removable waist belt, and is unlined and made in korea. such a funky and quintessentially 70s piece that would look great paired with jeans and platform shoes. tagged as a womens size large and I would say this best fits womens size medium or large. in excellent vintage condition, believed to be deadstock (new, never worn before vintage). measurements (lying flat): shoulder to shoulder: 21” bust (pit to pit): 19” across (38” when doubled) sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 20” pit to bottom hem: 17” centre back length: 26” bottom opening: 18” condition: in excellent vintage condition, believed to be deadstock (new, never worn before vintage).
