80s Yves Saint Laurent YSL RIVE GAUCHE RUNWAY PUFFY ZIPPERED BLOUSON JACKET COAT

I bought this piece in 1980 at the then Yves Saint Laurent RIVE GAUCHE boutique at Holt Renfrew in Montreal. Holts carried a sizeable collection and I am now parting with some key pieces. But back to the jacket: this was an iconic piece, featured in many magazines as shown here ( I have it in my old-style fashion scrapbook) - Deep red colour - Superb details and tailoring - Roomy low armhole - Funnel neck collar - 7/8 sleeve with cuff - Cotton twill - Brass colour zipper - Unlined - Size 42 France app 8 US - Made in France Very lightly worn, since then in careful storage. Some yellowing of the label. Was never washed or dry cleaned due to minimal wear.
