80s vintage brown plaid tartan preppy grunge pleated wool kilt mini midi skirt

this is a vintage pleated skirt from the 80s or early 90s in a brown, orange and yellow/tan palette – it’s so cute and feels high-quality, they just don’t make skirts like this anymore! the skirt has a high waist/rise, a mini midi above-knee length, and it features a decorative faux leather buckle, pleating on the front, and a side button and zip closure. the fabric is untagged but it feels like a light to medium weight wool blend, and the skirt is lined with a smooth polyester fabric, so it is comfortable and not itchy at all! size is untagged but I would say this best fists a womens modern day size small or medium (waistband is high and measures 26”). in great vintage condition with light pilling and minor runs in the lining (not visible when worn). measurements (lying flat): waistband: 13” across (or 26” when doubled) hips: 17.5-18.5” across (35-37” when doubled) total length: 19.5”
