80s vintage purple bold retro floral print ruffled short puff sleeves mini dress

this is a cute and comfortable mini dress “made in Canada” by the brand Honey Fashions from the 80s featuring a bold floral all-over-print of purple, pink and white roses and green foliage on a black background – it’s so much fun, and I love the retro look! the dress features a high neckline, half sleeves with puff shoulders and light shoulder pads (can be snipped out at your discretion), and it hits above-knee on 5’6 model. the dress goes on pullover-style with a single black shiny button and keyhole closure at the back neckline, and there are decorative black buttons on each of the sleeves. the silhouette is fitted at the bodice with a drop waist and light ruffled layering at the bottom hem, and the fabric is a comfortable and lightweight 100% rayon that is unlined. this lovely vintage garment is tagged as vintage size 10 and I would say this best fits adult size small. in great vintage condition with light pilling and signs of wear but otherwise no noticeable flaws. measurements (lying flat): shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 13.5” bust (pit to pit): 17.5” (35” when doubled) waist: 17” across (34” when doubled) centre back length: 32”
